Detailed Programme
Session 1: Analysis of the European Artificial Intelligence Act – What obligations for which stakeholders?
Date: 21 March 2025
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Description : European companies (including those in Luxembourg) routinely use artificial intelligence to enhance their operations. In mid-2024, the EU adopted a regulation aimed at governing the use of AI systems in Europe. Legitech, in collaboration with the law firm Lawgitech, invites you to a webinar at the end of March to understand the essential technical elements and master this regulation of vital importance for your companies.
Session 2: Developing and Using Your AI Systems in Compliance with the GDPR – Analysis of the Main Challenges
Date: 1 April 2025
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Description: Artificial intelligence (AI) tools are increasingly used in companies and public institutions. These versatile and highly complex tools must comply with the European AI Act, as we saw in our first training session. However, these tools must also comply with other regulations already in force, including the European regulation on personal data protection (the well-known GDPR). In this second training session, we will examine the challenges that arise when we want to use AI systems in full compliance with the GDPR (which legal basis to use? What to do in case of web scraping? How to respond to data subjects’ rights? etc.).
